Types of passes

Available in weekly, monthly and yearly durations, they allow 7-day-a-week travel in the purchased zones. The annual pass allows you to travel 12 months at 9 months cost only.

Dedicated to students up to the age of 26, it is valid for 12 months from 1st September to 31st August of the following year.
Thanks to the agreement stipulated by ATB with a number of municipalities that grant a bonus to resident students, there is an additional discount of up to €57 on the price of the annual pass: the participating municipalities are defined each year before the start of the dedicated passes campaign and affiliated passes can be subscribed no later than 19th December of the current year.

For 2025/2026 campaign, the bonus is recognized to people living in:  Bergamo, Albino, Alzano Lombardo, Albano Sant'Alessandro, Azzano San Paolo, Curno, Dalmine, Gorle, Grassobbio, Lallio, Mozzo, Osio Sopra, Paladina, Pedrengo, Ponte San Pietro, Scanzorosciate, Seriate, Sorisole, Stezzano, Treviolo e Villa di Serio.

ATB and TEB, in collaboration with the University of Bergamo, offer UniBg students an annual pass at special rates.

For the entire 2026–2027 academic year, the annual fare is €200, reduced to €160 for residents of participating municipalities under the age of 26.

In September and October, you can try out the service on the entire ATB and TEB network.

In the event of a ticket inspection, simply present proof of payment for the first installment of your UniBg tuition for the 2026/2027 academic year, along with your ID card.

The UniBg annual student pass is valid for 12 months, from September 1 to August 31 of the following year. There are no age restrictions, and it may be purchased exclusively for travel between the student’s residence and the university campus.

It can be purchased online—starting this year, also via PayPal in 3 convenient installments—or in person at the ATB Point or the ticket office at the Bergamo Bus Station, by presenting the receipt confirming enrollment.

Discounted monthly passes for Erasmus students

Erasmus students attending university courses at campuses in Bergamo and Dalmine can purchase a monthly pass at a discounted rate:

• €24.00 for students enrolled in a degree programme based in the Municipality of Bergamo;
• €31.00 for students enrolled in a degree programme based in the Municipality of Dalmine.

La BiGi Discount: Students with an ATB pass can also activate the La BiGi bike-sharing service at a special rate of €10, valid for the entire year. Simply request the discount code at the ATB Point.

For the 2026/2027 Season Ticket Campaign, the participating municipalities are: Bergamo, Albano Sant’Alessandro, Albino, Azzano San Paolo, Curno, Dalmine, Gorle, Grassobbio, Lallio, Mozzo, Osio Sopra, Osio Sotto, Paladina, Pedrengo, Ponte San Pietro, Scanzorosciate, Seriate, Sorisole, Stezzano, Treviolo.

Season tickets under this scheme can be purchased no later than 19 December of the current year.

For UniBg students residing in the municipalities of Verdellino, Osio Sotto and Levate, where the extra-urban fare system applies, the discounted UniBg fare is €200.00. The difference compared to the extra-urban fare is covered by the University. This season ticket is valid for travel to Dalmine or to Bergamo as far as the coach station. To travel beyond the coach station into the city centre, you must hold an integrated season ticket (at a cost of €470.00).

The Municipality of Osio Sotto offers its residents a discount of €40.00 on the purchase of the integrated travel pass. Therefore, the cost of the travel pass is €430.00 instead of €470.00.

Dedicated to children under 14 years of age and people who are 65 years of age or older on the date of validity start, we remind you that passes issued on or after the 20th day of the month become valid on the 1st day of the following month, and are 50% cheaper than ordinary monthly and annual passes.

Students under 26 years of age, travelling to or coming from an extra-urban location within Bergamo Province, can purchase the ATB + Bergamo Trasporti extra-urban carrier cumulative pass for the WEST, EAST and SOUTH suburban areas.
A single pass for the two transport services with an advantageous fare that includes a discount on both the ATB and the suburban annual fare.

The cumulative pass is valid every day until 31st August of the following year for an unlimited number of journeys and without time slot limitations.

Students enrolled for the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Bergamo can benefit from a further discount: the home - university seat season ticket costs € 470.

Dedicated to companies, freelance firms, businesses, associations, organisations and institutions, it allows those who conduct a professional activity, including employees, to travel around the city and the surroundings served by ATB and TEB at an affordable price since it can be used by several people (not at the same time).

Even for large families, passes are the cheapest way to travel: from the 3rd member onwards, ATB offers a discount of around 66% compared to the ordinary pass.

All season tickets must be annual and at each renewal you must present self-family certification.

This is the pass for children under 11 years of age, which allows to travel on the whole ATB and TEB network at the cost of the b-card only: €10. Is for one year and will in any case come to an end when the eleventh year of age is reached.

All passes are valid from the first day of the month and must be accompanied by identification card that costs € 10.
In case of loss or deterioration a duplicate of the card can be requested at a cost of € 10, the one of the pass at a cost of € 10.

In the same family, minors can purchase monthly or annual passes from ATB and any other public transport company (for example Arriva Italia, Autoservizi Locatelli, Trenitalia...), under these conditions:

• 1st Child: monthly or annual full-fare pass purchased from any public transport company within Bergamo Province or Lombardy Region, including trains. This category also includes student, cumulative and Treno - Bergamo passes
• 2nd Child: The full-fare season pass, of the same duration (monthly or annual) as the first sibling's pass, is discounted by 20%. The discount does not apply to promotional fares (annual student passes, Under 14...)
• 3rd Child: Free.

The discount always applies to the lower fare pass.

Discounts are also applicable to the monthly Treno - Bergamo passes purchased at Trenitalia ticket offices.
