ATB System

Dowload the pdf

With ATB System, the Urban Area is divided into 20 fare zones, each marked with a numerical code. The city of Bergamo is in the center and is identified by the code 00 - urban zone.

To travel by ATB Consorzio services, you must have a valid travel document suitable for your route.

To compute your fare, you count the number of zones crossed by the route of each line, including the departure and arrival zones. Each zone crossed corresponds to charge increase, while if the route starts or ends at the zone boundary there is no change to the next one. For all trips within a single zone, including urban zone 00, the fare charged is One Zone.

T1 Bergamo - Albino tramway

Nembro and Albino municipalities, with their respective hamlets, are part of ATB System.
To travel by T1 Bergamo - Albino tramway and Arriva Italia routes S30a Albino-Perola and S30c Albino- Vall'Alta- Casale, passengers must therefore use ATB travel documents only.

The rule also applies to passengers from the Extraurban Area (locations outside the Urban Area served by ATB and TEB).

Passengers travelling to/from:

  • locations in the Seriana Valley north of Albino

must indeed use Arriva Italia travel documents.
Such passengers may interchange only at the Alzano Centro stop using the tramway between Alzano Centro and Albino, otherwise they are liable to pay a fine in accordance with current regulations.
