Types of tickets

Electronic tickets must be validated just boarded bringing them close to the on-board validators.
Duration starts from validation; with each new validation they show the remaining validity time.

Fares valid from 1st September 2023

• One Zone:  € 1,70 - valid 75 minutes
• Two Zones: € 2,30 - valid 75 minutes
• Three Zones: € 3,00 - valid 90 minutes
• Four Zones: € 3,20 - valid 105 minutes
• Five Zones: € 3,50 - valid 120 minutes

The most practical and convenient solution for not running out of tickets.
When you bring the ticket close to the validator, it indicates the number of remaining rides. It is also possible to use the ticket for other people by placing the ticket a second time on the validator, selecting the number of people to be added and then bringing it again close to the validator to confirm the choice.

Designed for those who wish to visit the city by public transport, they include the transport of one piece of luggage with a maximum size of 40x80x120 cm. The Whole network also includes the BGY Airport direct link.

If you have a contactless bank card with you, you can purchase a ticket on board using the Passa e Vai system through the green validators. The system accepts credit and debit cards, physical or virtual, in other words registered on smartphones or smartwatches, and allows the purchase of one ticket per credit card.

On-board automatic vending machines are installed on buses and trams and allow the purchase of 3 types of tickets, with coins or by bank cards from the authorised circuits.
They do not return coins and do not give change. Tickets purchased are already validated.

They are the ideal solution for groups because they allow a return trip of the duration indicated for the individual ticket on both ways, in selected areas, at a lower price than the single and the 10-trip ticket.

Return ticket for groups can be purchased for a minimum of 10 people.
The ticket issued is unique and participants are required to travel together.
Both trips must be used during the same day.

• Two zones: € 3,40 per person valid 75 minutes
• Three zones: € 4,00 per person valid 90 minutes

Valid on weekends within the urban zone 00 they allow families and small groups of friends to travel comfortably by bus, funicular and tram all day long.

Children up to the age of 14 (not yet turned 14) can travel free of charge by public transport within Lombardy Region if accompanied by a relative (parent, sibling, uncle or grandparent) who has a valid ticket for the journey.

The related companion must be:

• adult
• linked to the child by one of the following family ties: parent, uncle/aunt, grandparent, brother/sister
• in possession of a valid travel document
• in possession of a valid identity document

The Io Viaggio in Famiglia - occasional travel card is personal, contains a list of authorised related companions and entitles the child to travel by all public transport within the Lombardy Region.

If you choose to go to ATB Point, you would have to download this form and submit it together with:

• a recent colour passport photo of the child
• a document showing the child's date of birth
• a photocopy of one of partents' identity document

The collection date is communicated by the ATB Point assistant when the application is submitted.
The photocopy of the application permits provisional travel within a maximum limit of 60 days.
In case of loss or deterioration of the Io Viaggio in Famiglia - occasional travel card, as well as of request for changes, a duplicate can be requested at a cost of € 5.
